Happy Spring!

It may be springtime, but our crafters are busy working away already for our big show in less than 8 months!  Our show for 2013 will be held November 1st and 2nd.  We had a meeting last evening, and we are happy to welcome some wonderful basketmakers to our group!  You'll love what they make! At our show this past year, we accepted credit cards for the first time, and boy did that go over well!  You'll be happy to know that we plan to continue to accept Visa and MasterCard at our show this year too! Don't forget to check out the links that several of our crafters have listed in their artist descriptions.  Many of them have blogs, websites, or sell on Etsy, and their products can be purchased year-round! Watch for future updates as we add new members during the course of the year.  See you in November!

Just four days left until show time!

This is my first year with Crafts Unlimited. I make handmade soaps, lotions, body wash, soy tarts (wax melts), scented sachets, and flavored lip balms. I have been doing arts and crafts since my childhood. In 2006 I took an Aromatherapy class and got hooked on it. I began making scented soaps and lotions for friends and family as gifts. I really enjoyed combining both my love for art and scent together in my products. In 2009 I was laid off from my job, and was encouraged by friends and family to open an Etsy store and begin selling my products. What I thought was a terrible thing turned into a great opportunity for me. Now I make a living doing what I love. I believe the love of my craft shows in my products, and I hope everyone enjoys using them as much as I love making them :) Click here to visit my Etsy site!
