Dates for this year's show!

This is our 35th anniversary! Be sure to join us on Friday, November 5th from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, November 6th from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. You won't want to miss our Artists Reception Friday evening from 5:00-7:00! We'll be serving delightful appetizers, refreshments, and it's a great opportunity to meet our artists! Irish Country Folk Trio "Maggie's Parlor" will also be on hand to provide music. Last year this new addition to our show was a big hit! A reminder that while we don't charge an entry fee for our juried show, we gladly collect canned food donations for the food bank. Hope to see you at our show!

Over the years we two sisters have enjoyed making vintage and primitives crafts. We try something new every year to share with the great group of guests that join us. This year our new items are rug hooked Santas, doggie bed rolls, and bark cloth satchels. We collect throughout the year; vintage wares, primitives and antiques to share at Crafts Unlimited. Christmas of course is our favorite time of year! Lesa (top) has been at Crafts Unlimited over 25 years, while Jeni (bottom) has been a member for 12 years.

Artist #8 - Nancy Watson

My name is Nancy. I'm currently a bus driver (have been for 19 years!) and LOVE being outside. My family and I began Lacamas Lavender Farm in early 2003 when I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I read quite a few books, and came across the herb Lavender that appeared to have homeopathic healing opportunities to those that were ill. I quickly became entransed by this herb, and the tilling was underway! We wanting to start small, but after configuring the plans for where the Lavender was to be planted, the planning actually turned into a 700 order! Changes were being made every second. As I started chemotherapy and after radiation, my love for this herb grew stronger everyday. I found myself outside most of the day, enjoying all what I could before nightfall. I am happy to say that I have been cancer-free for 7 years now, and plan to keep myself that way. Our Lavender farm has more than tripled in those 7 seven years. I have been with Crafts Unlimited for four years. I also sell my ...

Artist #15 - Sharie Harter

Hi! My name is Sharie Harter and I have been with Crafts Unlimited for about 20 years. I'm sure my love of sewing came from watching my grandmother and my mother sew. At a young age I asked my mother to teach me...and that's where it all started! I made alot of my own clothes and enjoyed that, but as I got older I found that I loved making crafts. For several years I participated in a bazaar with my neighbors and friends in my home then school bazaars and then joined Crafts Unlimited! I love to sew, but I think snowmen and santas are my favorite things to create. I also make ornaments, angels, baby blankets, bibs, cats and anything else I can find time to make. It's always fun to see the finished product after I put all the "parts" together and add all the doo-dads! I have lived in Vancouver all my life. My husband, Ron, is retired and we enjoy spending time at our place at Lake Cushman. We love spending time together and enjoy kayaking, beach trips, trav...

3-TIERED SERVER TRANSFORMATION

Image
This next makeover almost didn't happen. When I first saw this, I walked right by it. I immediately dismissed it as it wasn't close to what I wanted. A few steps later the light bulb *lit* I've seen so many tiered trays, some made with vintage china plates, some in silver, some are wired baskets, I'm sure you've seen some of them. I've never seen one that I've fallen in love with that was in my almost non-existent budget. So this is what I almost passed up last December.... Gorgeous...no?! NO, well, not yet! ;) A Christmas present to myself. Price, $19.99. Bonus, it had all the glass beads and crystal drops *happy dance*. Did you notice how dusty the thing was?! Yuck! Fortunately the crystal drops were covered, unfortunately the crystal beads weren't. But for $20, what's a little soap & water...no? Another drawback, notice that top tier is doing it's best impression of that tower in Pisa... After I dismantled it, turns out the rod was bent. N...

Artist #19 - Julie Koch

I make knit and sewn items, jewelry, mosaic tables and windows, antiques, ornaments, wool rugs, Santas, sock monkeys. My new product this year is sweater bears. I have been with Crafts Unlimited since the beginning, and am the last original member. I live in the Cascade foothills east of Battle Ground with my husband and assorted critters. We have two grown daughters, and four grandchildren who love to make things, so there's always something going on! We enjoy time at the coast, refinishing antiques, and puttering in the yard. Every year, I challenge myself by taking a class in something new, or out of my "comfort zone". In my not-so-spare-time, I like to spin and knit. We have a new cashmere goat, so watch for fuzzy hats next year!
